I spent last week in a bit of a tizzy. First there was a big ol' final exam to study for, and seeing as I am the procrastination queen, I was extremely understudied for it. Then after the exam I had to write a stupid paper for a stupid class lead by an even stupider professor. After several nights of either no sleep at all or maybe 3 hours tops, I finally got to go to the beach. I spent a few days at the Jersey shore with some nursing buddies. I brought a few cameras with me and clicked away as my little heart desired.
This may have been the best vacation I have had in a really REALLY long time. There was no schedule planning, no screeching mothers, no sister and friend tag team picking on me, no repeated requests for road head, no wakes or eulogy writing, no surgeries, no doctors at all, no packing up my childhood home while trying to block out my screeching family members, no studying, no applications to fill out, no drama, and really no worries of any kind. Just sunbathing, swimming, bonding with friends, drinking, singing loudly by the water at 3am, making fun of Jersey freaks, drinking, nail bling, hair braiding, skeeball, reading Sookie Stackhouse books, gossiping, feeling pretty despite wearing a bikini, drinking, photography, and just general buffoonery.
This song was an integral part of the trip.
